Announcements: Winter Ball Manager Applications: Winter ball manager applications must be submitted no later than this Saturday, July 22 at 1PM. They can be submitted via email to csaplayersagent@sbcglobal.net or to Cristi Johnston at this Saturday’s registration. Winter Ball Registration will continue this Saturday, July 22 and next Saturday July 29th at Calavera from 9am-1pm. Payment is due at the time of registration. CSA Board positions are available: The Carlsbad Softball Association Board will be holding elections for all 2007 Board positions on August 2nd, 2006. Any person can submit a letter of intent to serve on the CSA Board in any specific position. Letters of intent are due by July 26th. Some positions require extensive commitment, but for others the time commitment is seasonal, or just a few hours per week. CSA Board Positions include: President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Player Agent League Coordinator Equipment Coordinator Manager Coordinator Event Coordinator Field Maintenance Manager Assistant Player Agent Uniform Manager Volunteer Coordinator Web Master Publicity Manager Seabreeze Director All-star Coordinator Snack Bar Manager Sponsor Manager Winter Ball Coordinator League Scheduler Umpire in Chief Junior Umpire Coordinator If you are interested in finding out about any of these positions, you can email me (josdc@email.uophx.edu) and I will send you an informal job description. Also check the CSA web site under Board as the job descriptions will be posted there in the near future. Letters of intent should be emailed to Michelle Pahl at cvlkco@aol.com by July 26th. If you might be interested in more than one position, list the positions you are submitting for in order of preference. Optimist Club Fundraisers: There are two Optimist Club fundraisers that CSA will be supporting (since the Optimist Club is a BIG supporter of CSA!): PIZZA NITE at "PIZZA PORT" 571 Carlsbad Village Dr. (ELM Avenue to Old Timers) August 8, 2005----TUESDAY 5:00pm – 8:00pm GREAT OPPORTUNITY DRAWING A percentage of proceeds for FOOD sales generated in-house, 5:00pm-8:00pm will be donated by PIZZA PORT to the Optimist Club of Carlsbad "The Achievers" for youth activities!
