THIS SUNDAY, March 5th

Calavera Bullpen Renovations

For over a year CSA has been working with the City of Carlsbad to get approval to improve our fields.  The first major improvement will be to the bullpens of fields 1 and 2.  This will be a cooperative effort between CSA and the City of Carlsbad.

We need volunteers this Sunday to help complete the project!

Come for a few hours or come help all day!  We will be starting at 7:30 and will need people throughout the day to make our bullpens look beautiful.  Come when you can, and help for as short or long a time as you'd like.  Bring a square point shovel and gloves/knee pads if you have them.  Wear old clothes that you can get dirty and boots are recommended but not necessary.

We will be grading each bullpen, adding pitching boxes, infield dust, pitching plates and home plates.

When you arrive, please check in at the volunteer table near the snack bar entrance.  All volunteers must be checked in and sign a release of liability prior to working.  Volunteers that have checked in will be given an identification bracelet or ID.  All persons helping (even kids) must check in and sign a release.

This is the first step toward improving our fields for our softball playing girls!!!

Derek Rupp Chiropractic Inc.

West Coast Chiropractic is a holistic health care office.  Dr. Derek Rupp has practiced chiropractic in North County San Diego for 10 years.  We specialize in the detection and correction of spinal subluxations.  A subluxation is a misalignment of 2 vertebrae, putting pressure on the spinal cord and spinal nerves.  This pressure leads to pain, tissue dysfunction and disease.  Eighty percent of the time subluxations go undetected.  This is why it is so important to have your spine checked on a regular basis, just like you should get your teeth checked on a regular basis.

Dr. Derek Rupp and West Coast Chiropractic uses very specific techniques including Thermography, posture analysis, Electromyography, and x-rays to find and detect spinal subluxations.  We are located near the corner of El Camino Real and Carlsbad Village Drive at 3144 El Camino Real Suite 201.  Mention Carlsbad Softball to receive a discount.
