Saturday January 7th: Team Announcements Come to the Harding Center to find out what team your daughter is on, meet your coach, and get important info on the league for the 2006 season. 2:00-2:45 6U (T-Ball) 3:00-3:45 8U 4:00-4:45 10U 5:00-6:00 12U and 14U. (Please note that the CSA web site says 10AM. This is incorrect!)
Sunday January 8th: Managers/Coaches Clinic at Carlsbad High School from 1:00-3:00 At CSA our goal is to get all coaches on the same page so our girls will benefit. Come learn drills and skills from Coaches Balderrama and Whitley. All coaches are required to attend.
January 12th: Thursday Pitching Clinics Begin Pitching clinics with Doc Balderrama are at Calavera Park, Field 2 Clinics are divided into 3 sessions: Beginning clinic 6:00-6:45 Intermediate Clinic 6:45-7:30 Advanced Clinic 7:30-8:00 BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket) J
Sunday January 15th: Sunday Skills Clinics Begin 12:00-1:00 6U and 8U skills clinics with Doc Balderrama are at Carlsbad High School Varsity field. January 15th and each Sunday thereafter.
Sunday January 15th: CHS Junior Varsity Field Overhaul 7:30AM until ? Carlsbad Softball Association is committed to helping other local programs and has undertaken the challenge of rehabilitating the Carlsbad High School JV field. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Wear old, comfortable clothes and be prepared to work. Come at anytime throughout the day and stay for a few hours or more!
January 21st: Multi-Clinic Day at Calavera Park We will be conducting multiple clinics for the upcoming season. Here is our clinic schedule: 10:00-12:00 Junior Umpires mini-mechanics clinic: Field #2. All Junior Umpires are required to attend. 10:00-10:30 Snack Bar Clinic: Multi-Purpose Room 10:30-11:00 Team Parent Clinic: Multi-Purpose Room 11:00-12:00 Field Maintenance Clinic: Fields 1 & 2 11:30-12:00 Score Keeping Clinic: Multi-Purpose Room There will be a scrimmage after the clinics so the Jr. Umpires and scorekeepers can practice their newly learned skills.
