Website Update:

Things are being added to the CSA web site on a daily basis. See the streaming video of Leland doing his Opening Day stand up routine…Need to know when a game or practice is, or when you are working the snack bar, you’ll find it at the web site. Junior Umpires schedules will be appearing soon. Go to: www.carlsbadsoftball.com.

Team Sponsors: If you let us know the link to YOUR web site we will add it to OUR web site. We want to help your business grow.

Also, I am looking for Division 2 or 3 girls that would like to contribute to a "Player’s Corner" on the web site. This will consist of game summaries, player interviews and photos, and other miscellaneous player/softball related stories.

If your daughter is interested in being a "Junior Sports Journalist or Photographer" send me an email at josdc@adelphia.net.

Snack Bar Schedule

The Snack Bar Volunteer Schedule has been completed and is currently available at the CSA web site. Families who requested to volunteer and families who "did not specify" have been placed on the schedule. All parents must check the schedule! If you have chosen to not volunteer or if you have changed your mind and would like to give two hours, please contact Ken Yarnell at kyarnell@amerillum.com to make this change. If you are scheduled during a time that is a conflict, please find another parent with whom you can switch. If you fail to appear on your scheduled time, or if you do not have a replacement, you will forfeit your $25 deposit. After completing the 2-hour requirement and necessary paperwork, you will receive a refund check of $25 by mail. Thank you in advance for your volunteer time for the league. Without your help, we could not provide this service, which many families enjoy. Questions can be directed to Ken Yarnell at the above address.

Injury Report

The Carlsbad Softball family sends its best wishes to Olivia Ottone, who sprained her ankle on opening day and will be out of action for a bit. Get well soon Olivia! J

Lost Gym Bag

A pink and black Nike gym bag was left in the dugout a few weeks ago.  Please contact me if you picked this up.
